The Chicago Cubs will have a lot of representation at the World Baseball Classic this time around.

It was announced on Monday that Seiya Suzuki will be playing for Team Japan in the upcoming WBC in March. After not playing in the last WBC, Suzuki is excited to play in this one.

"I'm frustrated that I couldn't go out last time, so I'll build my body well so that I can participate this year," Suzuki wrote. "Also, I am honored to be able to fight with Japan on our backs. I will do my best for the team and for Japan.”

It will be exciting to watch Suzuki on the biggest stage.
