With Cade Horton out for the season, there's no better fit for Lucas Giolito than the Chicago Cubs.
Giolito loves the city of Chicago from his time with the White Sox. He's a former All-Star, and he's coming off a season where he was 10-4 with a 3.41 ERA with the Red Sox.
I found this very interesting as Giolito spoke about why he's still a free agent. One of the things he mentioned was that he could be ready to be inserted at the MLB level immediately upon signing. He's been throwing live with a pitch count of 75, so if the Cubs were to sign him, it wouldn't be long before he would be on the active roster.
