Just as the Los Angeles Dodgers are expected to welcome the New York Mets for a three-game series at Dodger Stadium, some abrupt news has hit in the pregame.
According to Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic, right-handed pitcher Kyle Hurt has a locker room inside the Dodgers clubhouse.
Nothing is confirmed, but this could potentially correlate to closer Edwin Díaz, as the talks of his health status increased with uncertainty.
This could also indicate that the Dodgers called in Hurt to serve as an extra arm since the bullpen arms have been taxed over the weekend.
