Guardians Promote Angel Genao, DFA Gabriel Arias

The Cleveland Guardians are calling up their No. 2 ranked prospect, INF Angel Genao.

Gabriel Arias has been designated for assignment to make room for Genao on the big-league roster.

Genao is primarily a shortstop, but also has experience playing third base and second base. As a switch hitter, Genao has an .889 OPS at Triple-A this season.
