After a month-long saga in which the the team was reported as the favorites to land him, the Seattle Mariners completed a three-team deal with the St. Louis Cardinals and Tampa Bay Rays at the beginning of February that saw 2025 All-Star utility player Brendan Donovan sent the PNW from St. Louis.

Donovan is a versatile infielder/outfielder capable of getting on base at a high-clip, and he's already putting in work at the M's spring training facility in Peoria, Ariz.
