Michael Arroyo set for first start in left field

The Seattle Mariners are set for the second of a four-game series against the Los Angeles Angels at 7:10 p.m. PT on Friday at T-Mobile Park.

In the game, the Mariners will have the typical starter in left field, Randy Arozarena, get a day as designated hitter. Top 100 prospect Michael Arroyo will play in left in Arozarena's stead.

It will be the first major league start for Arroyo in left field, who played most of this season in the minor leagues at the position after spending the majority of his time in the minors before at second base.
