A former Seattle Mariners infielder, Josh Rojas, has a found a new home.

According to MLB insider Mark Feinsand, Rojas has signed a minor league deal with the Kansas City Royals with an invitation to spring training attached.

Rojas played this past season with the Chicago White Sox but spend parts of two seasons with the Mariners from 2023-24.

Rojas was acquired by Seattle in a trade with the Arizona Diamondbacks that sent former closer Paul Sewald to the desert in return for Rojas, outfielder Dominic Canzone and infielder Ryan Bliss on July 31, 2023.

In his season-and-a-half with the M's, Rojas slashed .236/.308/.351 with a .659 OPS. He hit 23 doubles, two triples and 12 home runs with 45 RBIs.
