Peoria, Ariz. — High leverage Seattle Mariners reliever Matt Brash hasn't made an appearance in a Cactus League game this season due to recovery from a minor dental procedure.

Brash threw a live bullpen Friday at the Mariners' Peoria Sports Complex in Peoria, Ariz.

The right-hander faced Brendan Donovan and Ryan Bliss in the outing, who both were permitted to swing.

Brash forced a groundout from Donovan and struck out Bliss looking in the first round of at-bats.

In the second round, Brash forced a popout from Donovan and walked Bliss.

Brash made his return to the team last season after missing all of 2024 recovering from Tommy John surgery. He posted a career-best 2.47 ERA and struck out 58 batters in 47.1 innings pitched across 53 appearances.
