The Seattle Mariners continued to add to their pitching staff in the minor league ranks on Jan. 23.

The Mariners signed right-handed starting pitcher Gabe Mosser to a minor league deal.

The 29-year-old was picked in the 27th round of the 2018 MLB Draft by the San Diego Padres. He's yet to make an appearance in the major leagues.

Mosser spent last year with the Philadelphia Phillies.

Mosser posted a 5.20 ERA and struck out 127 batters in 124.2 innings pitched across 25 starts in Double-A and Triple-A.
