The Boston Red Sox fired Alex Cora and much of his staff on Saturday. Chad Tracy has been announced as the interim manager. Tracy played 41 games for the 2010 Marlins. He is now the sixth former Marlin to be a manager in 2026; joining Aaron Boone (Yankees), Craig Counsell (Cubs), Don Kelly (Pirates), Mark Kotsay (Athletics), and Walt Weiss (Braves)
