The Miami Marlins have officially unveiled their teal throwback uniforms, marking the first time in franchise history the team will wear teal jerseys in a regular-season game.

The uniforms will be worn on home Sundays during the 2026 season, beginning with their on-field debut on Sunday, March 29 vs. the Rockies. The look brings back the signature color that defined the franchise’s early identity, connecting the Marlins’ past with the present as the organization looks toward the future.

Team officials emphasized that teal represents more than nostalgia — it symbolizes the moment many fans first fell in love with Marlins baseball. The uniform blends heritage with modern performance, featuring a teal base inspired by the original 1993 Florida Marlins, an “Always Marlins” wordmark across the chest, and a legacy patch honoring the club’s roots.

Teal jerseys and related throwback merchandise will be available at the Marlins Team Store at loanDepot park starting Opening Day, Friday, March 27.

Teal is back—and for many fans, this is the return they’ve been waiting for.
