The Miami Marlins may have found something interesting already.
In the first spring game against the New York Mets, Christopher Morel made multiple impressive plays at a position he hadn’t previously played in games.
Spring Training is about experimentation, and so far, Morel looks comfortable. The athleticism has never been in question. The real test will be consistency and footwork as reps pile up.
If this sticks, it could open up serious flexibility for Miami’s lineup.
Too early to get excited -- or is this the start of something?
