It was a tough one today for Robby Snelling against the Philadelphia Phillies.
Snelling lasted just 1.1 innings, allowing five hits and four earned runs while issuing two walks and striking out two. The strikeouts showed flashes of swing-and-miss stuff, but traffic on the bases quickly put him in damage-control mode.
Spring Training results don’t tell the full story -- especially for young arms building up -- but it’s an outing the Miami Marlins will want to see cleaned up as camp continues.
Too early to worry, or something to monitor?
