Ethan Salas A Surprise Late Scratch For Game 2

The San Diego Padres lineup for Game 2 had both Luis Campusano and Ethan Salas starting for the second straight game.

Campusano was at catcher and Salas was listed as the DH and batting sixth.

However, just a half hour before the game, Padres manager Craig Stammen made a switch and inserted Gavin Sheets into the No. 6 spot with Salas being listed as a "healthy scratch."

The move is not injury related, which means Salas is available off the bench.

Sheets hasn't started a game since returning from the IL, but he had a monster pinch-hit two-run home run in Game 2 of the Wild Card series against the Chicago Cubs.
