The Pittsburgh Pirates managed just four hits and lost to the host Atlanta Braves 8-1 on Friday night in a Grapefruit League game at North Port, Fla.

Nick Gonzales had one of the hits and is batting .357 in 10 games this spring. He also played for Mexico in the World Baseball Classic.

Yohan Ramirez served as the opener and struck out two in one perfect inning. Nick Dombkowski (1-1) took the loss as the Pirates fell to 16-10.
