Alika Williams’ two-run single highlighted a five-run eighth inning as the Pittsburgh Pirates rallied to beat the visiting Atlanta Braves 5-2 on Thursday night in a Grapefruit League game in Bradenton, Fla.

Williams went 2 for 2 as the Pirates improved to 13-6.

Rookie starter Bubba Chandler allowed one run in five innings while striking out eight. Michael Darrell-Hicks (1-1) was the winning pitcher, and Noah Murdock got his first save.
