
The Pittsburgh Pirates signed right-hander Carson Fulmer to a minor-league contract on Monday and invited him to major-league spring training. The 32-year-old made 13 relief appearances with the Los Angeles Angels last season and was 0-0 with a 5.83 ERA.
Fulmer has a 7-15 career record and a 5.44 ERA in 127 games (24 starts) over nine seasons with the Chicago White Sox, Detroit Tigers, Baltimore Orioles, Cincinnati Reds, and Angels.
