ESPN's Bradford Doolittle recently released his power rankings and provided a progress report for each team's offseason to date. 

The Pittsburgh Pirates may not be playoff contenders in Doolittle's eyes, but he's at least encouraged by the moves the front office has made. 

"Look, Bucs fans, things are trending in the right direction. The Pirates have been staunchly in the add category this winter, infusing the lineup with Ryan O'Hearn, Brandon Lowe and Jhostynxon "The Password" Garcia," wrote the analyst.
