Boston Red Sox look undeterred by flight delay
Jul 11, 2026 12:09 AM
The Boston Red Sox were stranded for over 20 hours in Chicago due to a flight delay, which doesn't seem to have hindered the team in the early goings of the first of a three-game series against the New York Mets on Friday at Citi Field in New York.
The Red Sox took a 2-0 lead in the first inning despite having less than 12 hours between when they arrived to when the game started.
