The Boston Red Sox biggest point of improvement this offseason was the additions to the starting rotation. And one of those players will make his spring debut in a Grapefruit League game against the Minnesota Twins at 1:05 p.m. ET on Saturday.
Right-handed pitcher Sonny Gray, who the Red Sox acquired in a trade with the St. Louis Cardinals in November, will start on the hill. Defending American League Cy Young finalist and promising young pitcher Connelly Early, both starting pitchers, will also pitch against the Twins, according to a post on "X" from Boston Sports Journal report Chris Henrique.
