The Boston Red Sox have been involved in a lot of chatter over the last several days.

According to several reports from The Athletic's Houston Astros reporter Chandler Rome, the Red Sox are one of several teams to be involved in trade discussions with the Astros for third baseman Isaac Paredes.

Boston was also involved in a potential three-team deal with the St. Louis Cardinals and Astros that would have seen Paredes sent to the Red Sox.

Boston has missed out on several infield free agent targets this offseason, including third baseman Alex Bregman and shortstop Bo Bichette.

Do you feel like the Red Sox need to pull off a deal to acquire Paredes for the offseason to be a success?
