Pitchers and catchers are currently starting to report to their respective spring training facilities and a former Boston Red Sox hurler will be joining the Texas Rangers.

According to an article from Steve Adams of MLB Trade Rumors, via a report from Chris Cotillo of MassLive.com, that the Rangers signed for right-handed Boston hurler Ryan Brasier to a minor league contract with a non-roster spring training invite attached.

Brasier was with the Red Sox for parts of six seasons from 2018-23. He's also pitched in the majors for the Los Angeles Angels, Los Angeles Dodgers and Chicago Cubs.
