The Boston Red Sox have had a lot of turmoil to its pitching staff this offseason, particularly on the starting rotation.

The Red Sox acquired Sonny Gray and Johan Oviedo in respective trades and signed left-hander Ranger Suarez to a long-term deal.

Those three, in addition to defending American League Cy Young finalist Garrett Crochet and Brayan Bello, has left question as to where that leaves starting pitching prospects Payton Tolle and Connelly Early.

According to a report from MassLive.com columnist Sean McAdam, neither Tolle nor Early will be used as relievers.
