The Boston Red Sox lost out on the Alex Bregman sweepstakes to the Chicago Cubs, who inked the All-Star-caliber third baseman to a five-year, $175 million contract.

The Red Sox have been reported to looking to sign one big infielder this offseason, either Bregman or Toronto Blue Jays shortstop Bo Bichette.

Bichette will likely command more money than Bregman, but is capable of playing in both middle infield positions and is coming off an amazing World Series performance.

Bichette is also reportedly drawing interest from the New York Yankees and Philadelphia Phillies.

Which of the two players would you have preferred on the team in 2026?
