The Boston Red Sox have had a disappointing offseason by many fans' standards. They weren't able to bring back third baseman Alex Bregman or bring in shortstop Bo Bichette.

Despite this, the Red Sox have made additions. They acquired first baseman/catcher Willson Contreras and starting pitcher Sonny Gray in respective trades with the St. Louis Cardinals and signed starting pitcher Ranger Suarez to a five-year, $130 million contract.
