UGH! I wanted this one. I thought Williams would've made a lot of sense in this bullpen considering his strikeout rate remains high. There were early rumors about the Tigers being interested, but none of that matters now. Looks like the Mets gave him three years, which I'm sure Detroit was terrified of doing. There would've been a time where this organization would've had the spine to go all in for Edwin Diaz, but I'm sure he'll end up with the Dodgers or some other major market team. Scott Harris can't keep watching pitches go by.
