Just What The Tigers Needed, Another Pitching Injury

Whatever baseball gods are in charge of the 2026 Major League script, it’s pretty clear that they hate the Detroit Tigers. I’m not going to act like Ty Madden was out here putting up Cy Young numbers, but it is frankly stunning to turn the ball over to your bulk guy for a bullpen day only for him to get hit by a line drive after getting only one out. This doesn’t bode well for the rest of this game, and it doesn’t bode well for the rest of the series.
