The Tigers have taken the motto "You can never have enough arms" to a new level as they signed RHP Phil Bickford to a minor league deal with an invitation to spring training. He recently spent 2025 with Triple-A Iowa (Cubs) and Triple-A Leigh Valley (Phillies) pitching 46 innings between the two stops. 

Pickford has some postseason experience, pitching for the Dodgers in 2021 in the NLDS and NLCS.
