The Chicago White Sox informed both Jarred Kelenic and Drew Romo that they will not make the Opening Day roster.

It's not surprising that Romo did not make the Opening Day roster. Although he was having a good spring by hitting .353 with two doubles, one triple, and five RBI, Romo was never going to make the roster over Edgar Quero or Korey Lee.

As for Kelenic, he was on the roster bubble ahead of Opening Day. But he will not start the season with the White Sox. The last two outfield spots will likely go to Everson Pereira and Derek Hill.
