During tonight's postgame presser, Billy Donovan was asked if general manager Arturas Karnisovas hears his complaints about the way the team is playing and how that shapes the Bulls' approach at the trade deadline. Here's what he said:

"We’ll talk about that. He’s probably looking at a 30,000-foot view and I’m looking at it from the view of ‘we’ve got a game against New Orleans.’ I’ll watch the game tonight and then get prepared for New Orleans. I’m just looking at it from a competitive standpoint, what we have to do the next game. You guys are asking legitimate, serious and good questions, like is there enough right now? And I totally understand that, but the games are gonna keep on coming. You give me 10 guys that are gonna really compete, and play hard and play together, you have the chance to line up, play and win games. I don’t know if that will be enough, but I know that we can be better, and that’s what I’m trying to look towards doing. I’m looking at it from a very narrow, shallow perspective of we’ve got to play against New Orleans here on Wednesday night. How are we going to come out and how can we be better than we were tonight?"

What do you think about Billy Donovan's comments? It sounds like the roster-building is largely up to Karnisovas, and Donovan is merely working with what he's been given. Is that a problem, and what trades would you like to see Chicago make at the deadline?
