Here's what Bulls assistant head coach Wes Unseld Jr. — who is coaching the team on Thursday after Billy Donovan's father's passing — said before Chicago's game against the Raptors about Rob Dillingham:

On what Dillingham needs to unlock his potential:

"I'm not going to reference him in Minnesota. I think we all get fresh starts. I think he's looking forward to the opportunity. It's been a short stint, but I think he's got the ability to play fast, play downhill, get to the paint. The decision-making is going to be something we're going to have to continue to improve upon, but I think he's aware of that. He's a competitor, and you can tell. He wants to get out there, he wants to compete, loves to play. I think he does really good job with the ball in his hands."

On whether Dillingham's decision-making is a product of experience, film study, playing time or more:

"I think all the above. You can get some of that in individual work, the film study, but also just understanding the spatial discipline. We can all put it on the guy with the ball, oftentimes. Are we moving and opening up windows off the ball to give that guy outlets? So all those things go into play as far as his decision-making, and the other four guys on the floor have to help him."

On whether Dillingham's speed could be too fast for his own good:

"You might have to ask him that. At times, yeah, he's playing downhill and probably gets a little ahead of himself. But that's a good problem to have. A guy who can attract that much attention and get into the paint, I think it's going to do really good things for us."
