Lebron James vs The Chicago Bulls
Nov 2, 2026 5:55 PM
There may not be a single player in NBA history who has caused Bulls fans more pain than LeBron James.
From ending Derrick Rose's MVP season in the 2011 Eastern Conference Finals to that heartbreaking game-winner in the 2015 playoffs, LeBron has been a thorn in Chicago's side for what feels like an eternity.
Now, after signing with the Philadelphia 76ers this offseason in pursuit of one last championship, the King is back in the Eastern Conference. And tonight, the Bulls will get their first crack at him in a Sixers uniform.
While the Bulls are firmly in rebuilding mode, tonight presents a pretty cool opportunity for rookie Caleb Wilson.
Wilson has been one of the few consistent bright spots for Chicago to start the season, bringing energy, athleticism and a level of competitiveness that has been refreshing to watch. Now, he'll get his first opportunity to share the floor with one of the greatest players to ever pick up a basketball.
For a young player like Wilson, these are the kinds of matchups you dream about growing up. Going toe-to-toe with LeBron James, even at this stage of his career, is something special.
And knowing Wilson's mentality, I wouldn't expect him to shy away from the moment.
As for the rest of us Bulls fans, seeing LeBron back in the East might bring back some memories we'd rather forget.
So, Bulls fans, what's your worst memory of playing against LeBron James? Was it the 2011 Eastern Conference Finals, the 2015 buzzer-beater or something else entirely?
