Two quarters after the Bulls lost starting shooting guard Coby White to a right calf injury against the Timberwolves, Chicago was hit with unfortunate injury luck again. Starting point guard Josh Giddey limped to the locker room in the third quarter with an apparent left hamstring injury and will not return.
This was the play Giddey was injured on:
Now in his second season in Chicago, Giddey is averaging a career-best 19.5 points, 9.2 assists and 9.1 rebounds per game. He is also shooting 39% from deep and the Bulls' most likely candidate to reach the NBA All-Star game this season.
