A noteworthy omission from most of the Bulls' 120-97 win over the Bucks yesterday: second-year guard Rob Dillingham.

The former first-round pick played just five minutes, fewer than everyone except for Yuki Kawamura and Lachlan Olbrich. Dillingham finished with zero points on two shots (both three-pointers), one assist, one steal and one foul.

Other Bulls guards or wings who received more playing time than Dillingham:

  • Josh Giddey: 20 pts in 32 mins
  • Tre Jones: 13 pts in 28 mins
  • Collin Sexton: 22 pts in 32 mins
  • Isaac Okoro: 7 pts in 32 mins
  • Leonard Miller: 15 pts in 27 mins

Where should Billy Donovan look within his rotation to find minutes for Dillingham, who is just 21 years old?

Since coming to Chicago in the Ayo Dosunmu trade, Dillingham is averaging 6.4 points, 3.3 assists, 2.7 rebounds and 1.4 steals per game in nine outings. All of those would be career-highs if sustained over a full season.
