The Cleveland Cavaliers are taking on the Indiana Pacers in the first of two games on the road! I'll be live updating this page throughout the night.

The Cavs will be without Donovan Mitchell (rest), but Dean Wade (left knee soreness), Jarrett Allen (illness), and Jaylon Tyson (illness) are all available. Larry Nance Jr. (calf),  Luke Travers (two-way), Chris Livingston (two-way), and Max Strus are out.

The Pacers are missing Bennedict Mathurin, Isaiah Jackson, Obi Toppin, and Tyrese Haliburton.

    FIRST QUARTER

Evan Mobley's got high usage out of the gate. Unfortunately, he's picked up a couple fouls. But that offensive foul he was whistled for looked suspect.

Craig Porter Jr., De'Andre Hunter, and Jaylon Tyson are the first off the bench. Allen and Garland stay in.

Cavs went on a drought for almost four minutes before that DG lay-in from Jaylon Tyson.

Mobley's gonna have a good game tonight. Cleveland's gotta just take care of the ball. Some bad bounces early. Pacers up 24-16.

Cleveland doesn't have its most cohesive quarter, but only trails 28-22 going into the second.

    SECOND QUARTER

Nae'Qwan Tomliln in to start the period. He immediately cans a three after a deflection. This guy is all energy.

Props to Jaylon Tyson for playing through the illness. Catching wind isn't gonna be easy this evening.

De'Andre Hunter's getting downhill at will. This is good to see.

Craig Porter Jr.'s possessions vs. Pascal Siakam have been awesome. He's got a team-high four assists already, by the way.

Tomlin's been really effective so far. I like him in a lineup with some spacing and playmaking. It's Garland-Merrill-Tomlin-Wade-Allen out there.

Sam Merrill's letting it fly out there, catch-shoots and even pull-ups.

Dean Wade heads back to the locker room with Stephen Spiro after that latest drive and rare turnover with Siakam defending.

Way too much dribble pull-up and lack of movement to close the half. Cavs down 60-53 in Indy. Mobley's got to be better in the second half, but DG's got to keep that rock moving (like he was before that ending stretch) on the road.

Wade is out for the rest of this game with a left knee contusion. It's the same injury that's kept him out of the last three contests.

    THIRD QUARTER

Jay Huff is having a hell of a night, and the rubber rims have been there for him out of the locker room.

Merrill's improved so much as a pro. Development is fun to watch. And yes, you can still get better at 27 years old.

Johnny Furphy is EXPLOSIVE. I remember in the playoffs last year, Gainbridge Fieldhouse got really excited when he entered the game in that blowout.

Porter and Tomlin have been terrific tonight. Hunter's doing a good job of getting to that eight-foot area and going over the top, too.

Cavs trail it 93-84 heading into the final frame. Gutcheck time for Cleveland, who doesn't have Donovan Mitchell to come to the rescue this go-round.

    FOURTH QUARTER

Right energy right away. Mobley starting to put it on the floor and attack more. Merrill's still on fire. Porter is giving the energy. DG hit a floater.

Dre's playing BIG. He's been forceful this evening. Credit to JA for his deflections and dives as well. Cavs on top 103-102 midway through.

CRAIG PORTER JR. What a winner.

Garland went crazy with his float game and mid-rangers.

Well, we all lost the last two minutes with technical difficulties but the Cavs win 120-116. Comeback victory.
