The Cleveland Cavaliers are hosting the Oklahoma City Thunder on MLK Day! I'll be live updating this page throughout the night.

The Cavs will be without Darius Garland (right great toe sprain), Sam Merrill (right hand sprain), Luke Travers (two-way), Chris Livingston (two-way), and Max Strus. The Thunder won't have Jalen Williams or Isaiah Hartenstein.

STARTERS

Thunder -  Gilgeous-Alexander, Dort, Wiggins, Williams, Holmgren

Cavs - Mitchell, Tyson, Wade, Mobley, Allen

FIRST QUARTER

Good energy out of the gate. Cavs have five assists on six field goals early. Evan Mobley and Jarrett Allen involved a lot. OKC's got Shai Gilgeous-Alexander finishing through contact as usual.

Craig Porter Jr., De'Andre Hunter, and Nae'Qwan Tomlin in for Cleveland's first subs.

Jarrett Allen with a big stuff on Jaylin Williams' dunk attempt. Wow.

Cleveland's mettle is getting tested here again in the opening moments.

Tomlin is making such a huge difference. Screens, ferocious physicality.

END 1Q: Thunder 32, Cavs 27

OKC: Gilgeous-Alexander 10p, 2a, blk. Williams 6p, 3r, 2a. Wiggins 6p, 2r, 1a, blk. Holmgren 7p, 1r.

CLE: Mobley 8p, 2r, 1a, stl. Porter 5p, 2r, 1a. Allen 4p, 1r, 1a, blk.

SECOND QUARTER

Tyrese Proctor, Donovan Mitchell, Lonzo Ball, Nae'Qwan Tomlin, and Evan Mobley to start the second period.

Mobley's having a heck of a day so far. Cleveland couldn't come up with it after Holmgren's free-throw miss, but he's wrestling out there.

Lonzo Ball is trying to do a little too much at the wrong times. It's gotta be awkward when the crowd groans when you shoot, though. Cavs down by six about midway through the second period.

Cleveland's done a terrific job of recognizing when Allen's had a favorable matchup in the paint. A lot of opportunities underneath.

Lot of bad bounces for the Cavs in this first half. Rebounds and passes going off hands or just not being able to secure the rock after positive plays.

Mobley being in foul trouble for half the quarter did not help matters. Cleveland had some real trouble with that devilish defense.

HALF: Thunder 66, Cavs 51

OKC: Gilgeous-Alexander 16p, 2a, 2blk, 1r. Dort 11p, 2r. Joe 12p, 1a. Holmgren 9p, 3r, 1a. Wiggins 6p, 3r, 1a, blk. Williams 6p, 3r, 2a.

CLE: Mobley 10p, 5r, 2a, 2stl. Hunter 7p, 4r. Mitchell 7p, 3a, 2r, 2stl. Allen 7p, 3r, 1a. Tyson 5p, 7r, 2a.

THIRD QUARTER

Jaylon Tyson is having the dreaded game after the best game regression on the same night that Donovan Mitchell can't find a semblance of an offensive rhythm with Lu Dort on him. It's spelled disaster for the Cavs, who are down 74-54 to OKC.

Thunder's role players are starring on the road this afternoon. An immense amount of credit to them.

Cavs have got to go through Mobley and Hunter right now. That's been the only consistent answer they've had in this game. It's 76-63 with 5:05 left in the third quarter in favor of OKC.

Cleveland is hanging tough. Can they slow down SGA and Holmgren when it comes down to it?

CP with a huge transition block on Chet. Wow! The Cavs have made some really sensational plays today. They've just not been able to break through the dam. Kinda feels like Friday's Philly game. But the Thunder are a whole other animal.

END 3Q: Thunder 91, Cavs 79

OKC: Gilgeous-Alexander 26p, 3a, 2blk, 1r, stl. Holmgren 17p, 8r, 1a, blk. Joe 14p, 2a, 1r. Dort 11p, 3r, 2a, stl.

CLE: Mobley 15p, 7r, 4a, blk, stl. Allen 14p, 8r, 2blk, 1a. Hunter 14p, 8r. Tyson 8p, 10r, 4a. Mitchell 9p, 4r, 3a, 2stl. Porter 7p, 4r, 1a, blk, stl. Tomlin 6p, 7r, 2stl, 1a.

FOURTH QUARTER

The Cavs are outrebounding the Thunder by 20 and are almost down by 20. Just not enough offensive output tonight with the lack of spacing and OKC defenders looking to pounce every possession.

Mitchell could not escape the Dorture Chamber again this afternoon.
