The Cleveland Cavaliers are taking on the Philadelphia 76ers in the first of back-to-back games in the City of Brotherly Love! I'll be live updating this page throughout the night. 

The Cavs will be without Dean Wade (left knee contusion), Luke Travers (two-way), Chris Livingston (two-way), and Max Strus. The Sixers will not have a pair of their two-way players, Johni Broome and MarJon Beauchamp. 

FIRST QUARTER

Cavs are starting Jaylon Tyson in place of Sam Merrill, who's gotten the nod the last few games.

Liking Evan Mobley and Jarrett Allen's early starts. 

Cleveland's made 7 of its first 11 shots with 10 points in the paint in the first four minutes.

Garland has two fouls already. That's less than ideal. But the bigs have come to play in the opening frame. Cavs up 17-10 less than five minutes in.

Garland-Merrill-Tyson-Hunter-Allen is a different combo. Let's see how it goes.

Hunter gets a three to go down! It came after a mid-range miss and a Tyson offensive board.

Cleveland has nine points off turnovers and there's five minutes left in the quarter. These guys are on it right now. Key words: right now.

Dre's got eight points already. This team is engaged in the first quarter.

Cavs are on an onslaught on each end. They're up 30-16 with 2:18 left to go in the first. Wine-and-gold are on it right now. Key words: right now.

The Cavs have a 33-18 lead after one. They have eight offensive boards and 11 second-chance points. They've forced six turnovers for 11 more. It hasn't been close. But there's 36 minutes to go.

SECOND QUARTER

Lonzo Ball enters the game for Cleveland to join Porter, Mitchell, Hunter, and Mobley.

Nae'Qwan Tomlin came in now for Porter, so Kenny Atkinson's gone 10 deep now.

We're seeing Qwan get some run with different kinds of lineups. Atkinson's feeling it out. Cavs got some good defense from that last unit. It's 45-34 almost midway through the second.

Sixers are cutting into it, but man, Cleveland's forcing them into some tough situations. A bunch of steals that are leading to opportunities in the open floor. 

DG has got the step tonight, with 14 points on 5-of-7 from the field. But it's that latest defensive possession where he cut off Quentin Grimes baseline that stands out. Excellent job.

The Cavs have now played for 24 minutes. THAT was the brand of basketball that they are capable of playing. Guess what? Twenty-four more to go. Cleveland is up 60-47 going into half.

Sam Merrill is questionable for the second half with a right hand injury.

Cavs haven't gotten to the line nearly as much, so we'll see if that changes in the second half. 

Mobley and Allen were outstanding. It's the give-and-go with the guards, the defense, and the passing among each other that we know they have in them.

THIRD QUARTER

Immediately, Cavs crash the offensive glass out of the gate. 

Dom Barlow took a hard fall. Hope he's alright...

Mitchell's off to an eight-point start and now has 18. 

I IMPLORE people to watch Evan Mobley defend. That last stop where he got in front of Embiid then went to block on George was pure insanity.

Good timeout from Atkinson. Cavs lead is down to 75-61. 

Cavs responded to Philly cutting into the lead with some solid poise, but now, the turnovers are starting to stack. Sixers are gonna pressure it heavy. Cleveland up by 11.

Dom Barlow is out for the rest of this one with a back injury.

Garland's heading back to the locker room after he tried to scrap for a loose ball. Cavs are taking care of business while he's gone, though.

When Qwan plays, it feels like there are two of him.

Maybe not a full quarter of play, but as close to 36 minutes of hard-playing ball we've seen. Now, it's the most important 12 of the night. Cavs up 93-75 on the road.

FOURTH QUARTER

Garland is out for the rest of this game with a right foot injury. Unreal.

Don's just doing work in this second half. He's already got 33 points with seven rebounds and seven assists. Could he possibly achieve the first triple-double of his career?

Craig Porter Jr. with the perfect pocket pass in the pick-and-roll in traffic. And-one for Ev. 

Mobley's having one of his best games of the year tonight. He is killing it. 

Tyson's been Johnny on the Spot with his hush threes. Basically when Philly has strung together momentum, he's had the crowd quieting hits. 

Sixers have given in. Cavs are gonna win this going away. Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde appear once again...

Larry Nance Jr.'s first game since his calf injury. Good on him getting some floor time.

That's a 133-107 win for the Cavs over the 76ers. They'll see each other in 48 hours again in the same place.
