The Cleveland Cavaliers are taking on the Philadelphia 76ers in Game 2 of back-to-back contests in the City of Brotherly Love! I'll be live updating this page throughout the night.

The Cavs will be without Darius Garland (right toe soreness), Sam Merrill (right hand sprain), Dean Wade (left knee contusion), Luke Travers (two-way), Chris Livingston (two-way), and Max Strus. The Sixers will again not have a pair of their two-way players, Johni Broome and MarJon Beauchamp.

FIRST QUARTER

Lot of doubles on Donovan Mitchell out of the gate. Cavs are gonna need that ball-handling and shooting offensively to come from somebody.

Jaylon Tyson's off to a good start with a couple of threes.

Cleveland's turning it over too much and not defending at the same level as a couple of nights ago.

Turnovers are going to be a huge key this evening. Sixers are showing a lot more pride in their play tonight.

Philly's up 31-25 with 2:26 left in the first.

The Sixers can't figure out how to get shots on Evan Mobley. He's been unreal defensively in Philadelphia. Cavs close it on an 8-0 run to make it 31 apiece after the first quarter.

SECOND QUARTER

Tyrese Proctor's in the game with Garland and Merrill out. Good time to get some experience against a solid team on the road!

Some tough luck off rip for Proctor, who had an open-floor opportunity altered by Adem Bona then missed an open corner three off an offensive rebound. Bona blocked Tyson's drive the previous possession, too. Sixers on a run right back. It's 41-33 home team.

Nice response from the rook! Five quick ones after some solid defense. De'Andre Hunter's efforts aren't going unnoticed either.

How about Jaylon Tyson! He's got 17 and we're not even midway through the first half. Cavs cut back into it, 43-41. Cleveland's answering on the road so far.

Craig Porter Jr.'s got five dimes so far. Proctor had an outstanding stint, and the Cavs won the non-Don minutes.

Hunter needs to take at least five dribble pull-ups a night. It is cash every time.

Loving the defense so far. Staying disciplined and closing out hard. Good ball pressure and communication. 76ers have 21 points off 12 Cavs turnovers, which is why they're up 62-55 going into the half after an 8-0 run.

THIRD QUARTER

Jaylon Tyson is en fuego. He's 8-for-11. The energy he's bringing is unmatched from anybody on the floor.

Cavs getting the ball to Jarrett Allen a little bit more now. Evan Mobley's been short on his three-ball tries and isn't having a ton of success on his finishes. Donovan Mitchell's been off, but all it takes is seeing one go down. Sixers up by nine.

JT is playing like a dang All-Star right now.

NAE'QWAN TOMLIN THREW IT DOWN OVER JOEL EMBIID. My goodness.

Cleveland's starting to gain some mental toughness... Not a flinch at all when the Sixers try to create separation. They're in a fight, though. Philly leads 91-84 after three.

FOURTH QUARTER

Rese is giving the Cavs some big-time minutes with his activity on D.

Cleveland's getting killed by creating turnovers then turning it back over immediately after.

Mitchell nails his first corner three of the quarter. It's 102-95 Philly with 7:50 to go.

Ten straight for the shorthanded Cavs in two minutes. They're playing HARD. Not perfect with the ball and Philly's trying to attack on possession changes, but there's an uneasiness in that building. It's 102 all.

Really tough stretch there. Improper inbound after a stop, foot on the sideline on a kick-out. Cavs are inching toward the danger zone now all of a sudden.

If you're talking about the Cavs lack of mental toughness on a night like tonight, I don't know what game you're watching. There's a difference between self-inflicted wounds and not wanting it. They've WANTED this one.

Tyson is going OFF. He's got 36 points and is just destroying the Sixers.

De'Andre Hunter came down the floor and gave the Cavs the lead right back. Solid read in the open floor.

Great defense down the stretch and Paul George got away with an off-arm. Cavs got the rebound.

This is a game where you see the habits build.

Mobley splits the pair at the line, then Maxey hits a runner with 8.1 seconds left in regulation. It's tied at 115. Cavs ball.

Jaylon Tyson drives baseline, finds Evan Mobley for a dunk with five seconds. Tyrese Maxey misses the half-courter at the buzzer. Cavs win again in Philly 117-115. That is a character builder.
