Jaylen Brown to host a "going away" block party Aug. 30 in Boston.

Despite opinions and speculation on how the deal came to fruition that sent longtime Boston Celtics wing Jaylen Brown to the Philadelphia 76ers, Brown has maintained his affection for the city of Boston in subsequent statements and interviews.

It looks like Brown will have one more send-off to the city he called home for a decade. The former NBA Finals MVP will host a going-away block party in Boston on Aug. 30, looking to end his time in the city on a fun note.
