Yes, this is a dunk by someone who tore their Achilles 150 days ago. I'm not taking anything away from the guy. It's an incredible feat.

But honestly, this does nothing for me.

I don't think it's indicative of Tatum being any closer to returning to the floor than he was yesterday. I think this is a guy who is listed at 6-foot-8 (I think he's taller) making a minimal leap and putting the ball in the basket. He's likely making small jumps like this throughout his rehab process on a daily basis.

I'm in the camp of having Tatum sit out the entire 2025-26 season. I don't think having him come back ASAP benefits anyone involved. He won't truly be 100%, and the team puts their most important asset at risk of re-injury.
