Ja Morant shared his perspective on Friday, and he was honest about how he felt watching the Grizzlies trade Jaren Jackson Jr. to the Utah Jazz.

"I wasn't a fan of it, but it's a business," Morant said.

While he wasn't a fan of the trade, Morant reminded Jackson to keep being the pro he's been for eight years. It was the first time Morant had spoken publicly since injuring his elbow on Jan. 21.

With Desmond Bane also gone and Zach Kleiman pointing toward a younger core, the roster Morant came up with is essentially gone. He said he'd fit with the new group the same way he'd fit anywhere by being himself.
