Another rough week for the Grizzlies has pushed an already-loud question back to the front of the league conversation: Are Ja Morant and Memphis heading for an inevitable breakup?

Between the sideline exchange with Tuomas Iisalo, the postgame interview that led to a suspension, and now the calf injury keeping him out of action, rival execs are openly wondering if this relationship can still be repaired. Some believe Morant can still thrive in the right situation. Others say the Grizzlies “don’t have a choice” but to move him.

Even more telling? One scout flat-out called the combination of Morant’s injuries, inconsistencies, and contract “a bad one,” while a GM questioned whether his motivation and long-term health can hold up.

Meanwhile, Memphis continues to lose ground without him — and the names of Trae Young and LaMelo Ball are already floating around as possible replacements if the franchise does decide to move on.

So here’s the big question for the community:

Is it officially time for Memphis to explore a Ja Morant trade, or do you still believe this can be salvaged?
