Late in the fourth quarter of the Grizzlies’ 136-120 loss to the Heat, an exchange between Scotty Pippen Jr. and Myron Gardner escalated following a made three-pointer and subsequent contact from behind.

Both players were ejected with 1:55 remaining after the confrontation carried into the front row.

Pippen acknowledged frustration over the no-call on the shot, while Heat coach Erik Spoelstra expressed support for Gardner postgame. The league is expected to review the incident.
