    Former NBA players are weighing in on the Hawks’ hot start without Trae Young — and they aren’t holding back.

    Danny Green says Atlanta “might need a fresh start” and is “moving in a different direction.” Paul Pierce believes the Hawks should decrease Young’s role if Jalen Johnson keeps developing into a superstar.

    Atlanta is 6–2 without Trae this season, and Johnson is playing the best basketball of his career.
