The Hawks put together one of their most complete performances of the year on Wednesday, blowing out the Kings 117–76 and climbing back above .500.
Jalen Johnson was in full command, finishing with 24 points, 10 rebounds, and 8 assists on 9-of-10 shooting. Zaccharie Risacher added 15 on 7-of-8 from the field, and Onyeka Okongwu gave the Hawks 21 points off the bench.
One of the biggest sparks came from Vít Krejčí, who knocked down three straight threes during a crucial first-half run. His shooting completely flipped the momentum. He said afterward:
“Once I hit those three 3s in a row, that’s when I started feeling really good.”
Kristaps Porzingis echoed that impact, saying Krejčí’s burst lifted the entire team:
“We needed this spark from Vit... you saw not only his confidence, but the team’s confidence just kept on building.”
Atlanta’s defense was just as impressive, holding Sacramento to 36% shooting and only 12 points in the second quarter. The Hawks forced 16 turnovers, won the boards 47–36, and never let the Kings back into the game.
With Trae Young out, this was the kind of top-to-bottom performance that shows how deep this roster can be.
Do you see this as the Hawks’ most complete win of the season — and a sign of what they can look like when fully healthy?
