Big-time road win for the Hawks. Atlanta goes into TD Garden and handles the Boston Celtics 117-106 to make it four straight victories and move to 24-25. This felt like one of the more complete performances we’ve seen all season, especially with how fast the Hawks came out.

Atlanta shot nearly 70% from three in the opening stretch, jumped out to a 38-18 first-quarter lead, and never really let Boston get comfortable. Even when the Celtics made runs, the Hawks had answers.

A few things that stood out:

  • Nickeil Alexander-Walker staying hot with 21 points, including the left-handed banked three late that basically iced it.
  • Jalen Johnson stuffing the stat sheet again (16 points, 11 boards, 7 assists).
  • Dyson Daniels doing a little bit of everything — 15 points, 9 assists, 5 steals — and making life tough on Jaylen Brown.
  • Six Hawks with 13+ points. This team is winning with balance right now.

The Okongwu incident was scary, but it also felt like a moment where the Hawks locked in defensively afterward instead of folding. That kind of response hasn’t always been there in past seasons.

Atlanta now jumps the Chicago Bulls for ninth and sits just one game back in the win column of the sixth seed. With the All-Star break and trade deadline coming up, these wins are stacking up fast.

So Hawks fans:

  • Is this the most encouraging win of the season so far?
  • How real does this streak feel to you?
  • What’s impressed you most — the defense, the ball movement, or the depth?
  • Does this change how you’re viewing the Hawks heading into the deadline?
