Can the Atlanta Hawks rebound against the Boston Celtics on Monday night?
Over the weekend (Friday night), Atlanta lost to Boston 109-102. The Hawks went on a 25-9 run to start the game, but the Celtics had a strong last three quarters to pick up the win.
This time, however, the Hawks are playing at State Farm Arena, and attempting to stretch their 12-game home winning streak in the lucky number 13.
In the last matchup between the Hawks and Celtics, Jaylen Brown was out with left calf tightness, and that allowed Payton Pritchard and Jayson Tatum to combine for almost 60 points.
This go around, the Celtics will be without Jayson Tatum and likely Neemias Queta, but Jaylen Brown and Derrick White are likely to play in Monday night's matchup.
Atlanta is the slight favorite, but that's because the Celtics are on the second half of a back-to-back.
Boston is a tough opponent no matter when they play or who plays, so Atlanta can not take them lightly, but this is a good opportunity for the Hawks to pick up a win against a tough Eastern Conference opponent.
The Hawks will also have their full cast of characters available (Jalen Johnson, Onyeka Okongwu, Nickeil Alexander-Walker, Dyson Daniels, and CJ MCCollum).
So, can the Hawks rebound on Monday to pick up a win against the Celtics? And extend their home winning streak to 13 games?
