The Atlanta Hawks rolled over the Washington Wizards on Tuesday night, in what was a strong debut performance for forward Jonathan Kuminga.
Kuminga led all scorers in the game with 27 points on 9-for-12 shooting, and also collected seven rebounds and four assists. He made three 3-pointers, and displayed his playmaking ability in a variety of ways.
So, Hawks fans, what did you think about Kuminga's team debut?
He will have another try at collecting some more stats on Thursday when the Hawks play the Wizards again, but Kuminga might play himself into a starting role soon on this Hawks team.
It had been over a month since Kuminga had played in an NBA game, and his left knee bone bruise didn't limit him in any way, as Kuminga played 24 minutes in his first game.
This is why the Hawks traded for Jonathan Kuminga, and while he didn't get to see any time next to Jalen Johnson, who left Tuesday's game with a hip flexor injury, Kuminga should provide the Hawks with another dimension of scoring down the stretch.
