The Atlanta Hawks traded Kristaps Porziņģis to the Golden State Warriors on Wednesday night for forward Jonathan Kuminga and shooting guard Buddy Hield.

Hawks fans, what are your thoughts on Kristaps Porziņģis being shipped out of Atlanta, and the Hawks helping their roster flexibility by bringing these two players in?

This is now the Hawks' fourth trade this NBA trade deadline season.

Kristaps Porziņģis had played in just 17 games with the Hawks this season, including just 12 starts. He averaged 17.1 points per game when on the court.

The early reports after this big trade across the NBA indicate that the Hawks had already decided that they were not going to re-sign Porziņģis, who is on an expiring contract.

Jonathan Kuminga requested a trade out of Golden State due to a fractured relationship with Steve Kerr and frustration due to a reduced role. After the Hawks also acquired Jock Landale, it's unclear where Kuminga or Hield will be starters in the Hawks' lineup.

Kuminga has a better shot to start than Hield, and he might get that opportunity with Onyeka Okongwu still sidelined, but Hield will join the Hawks bench cast of players like Luke Kennard, CJ McCollum, and Corey Kispert.

In my opinion, this is a very good trade for the Hawks, and I'm curious to get all Atlanta fans' thoughts in the comments below on how you would grade this trade for both sides.

There's no doubting how good Kristaps Porziņģis is when on the court, but that has just become rare as he's aged. He missed most of January with an Achilles issue, and when he was healthy with that issue, he had to miss the Hawks' last game with an illness.
