DeMarcus Cousins developed into one of the greatest players to ever hit the floor for the Sacramento Kings over the course of his seven seasons with the team, averaging 21.1 points and 10.8 rebounds in that span.

The 4-time All-Star and 2-time All-NBA Second Team selection had an epic individual run with Sacramento, but his tenure came with zero playoff appearances.

A notoriously fiery competitor in his prime, Cousins recently shared his thoughts on criticism he once received for letting his temper get the best of him on a few occasions, citing his desire to win as a core factor.

"For the most part I've been a winner my whole life," Cousins explained on an episode of Carmelo Anthony's 7 PM in Brooklyn podcast.

"To get to a situations where it's a lot of losing... then they tell you to be professional in a sense, (to) have a good attitude."

"Why the (expletive) are you trying to tell me to have a good attitude about losing?... I'm not wired like that, and you're not going to make me think that's the way I'm supposed to be wired."

Cousins may have allowed his raw passion for the game and ultimate desire to win spill out in negative ways, but there was never a question that nothing else mattered to the versatile big man more than bringing a title to Sacramento.
